Henry Crider of Frederick Crider, born 1796 and Elizabeth May of George May 1 born 1801.  They were married in Rockingham County, VA.  They moved to Clark County, OH between 1831 and 1834.  In 1820 Henry Crider is a road tithable from Dove’s to Caplinger’s.  In 1821 he patented 100 acres adjoining Jacob Lantz, George May and Andrew May.  1822  100-acre patent to Henry Crider joining May and Lantz.  In 1830 he patented an adjoining 23 acres, 31 miles North Court house.  In 1826 tax of Rockingham County Henry Crider is assessed for the 100 acres in Brocks Gap, 31 miles NW of Court house.  In 1826 Henry Crider and wife Elizabeth conveyed 9 acres being 1/15 of her undivided interest in the 131 acre estate of her father, Geroge May I to her brother James May.  1831 tax Rockingham County Henry Crider 100 acres 31 miles West for $100 and 23 acres by patent 31 West $11.  Henry Crider on Sept 19, 1834, now living in Clark Co., OH conveyed his own land to his nephew-in-law, George Lantz, deed book 11, page 474-5, patent of 1830 adjoining Jacob Lantz, Geroge May and Andrew May.  Geroge May married Elizabeth May of James married 1831.
